How to increase visibility range for...?

... a HOTA statue? I haven't changed anything in my settings for months, but when last I had it on my old deed I'm sure I had more than 10 tiles visibility. Now it vanishes at 5 tiles range.

Was something changed?

Is it in a house? Items in houses only render when you are within 6 tiles.

Oh yes, it's on the "roof" of one now, cause that deed has pickup for all enabled (for taming) and I was told that anyone could then pick up the statue.

Are you able to plant it? Don't have a hota statue personally, but that does prevent pickup usually

Yes, thank you, it's working without house, tested it yesterday and contrary to the info someone gave me before, the statue was safe.
