Posted February 5, 2014 Winter is coming... just not fast enough. So next season isnt till April 6th. Ah well suppose I can get by on Vikings till then, keep the tvphile in me sated. Posted February 5, 2014 After the whole feeling of WANT MOAR game of thrones series have put into me. After I was able to put it down near end of season 2 I just too scared to pick it up again. Too scared of being left on cliffhanger again xD ... maybe I could wait until the entire series wrap up. Posted February 6, 2014 I read a bit of the first book when it came out and thought: Yeah, no. Re-read it again years later and changed my mind, got through the first 3 and thought: OK, where's the rest. Skipped the first 2 seasons of the HBO series figuring it would suck, then saw an episode and immediate binge watched the first 3 seasons. Just finished the 4th and 5th book, re-watched the first three seasons and realized at the current pace the series will be over in 2021. SIgh. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There was a witcher tv series (13 episodes) made in Poland some time ago; however, it departed quite a bit from the books and the games based off of the books. They called it the Hexer there, personally the translated "Witcher" sounds better. I pirated the series once. It was okay. Not outstanding but decent. Posted March 23, 2014 If I remember correctly, Martin has spoken with the producers of the show about the direction he wants the books to go in, so if something does happen to him before finishing the books they can finish out the story using the tv show.
