Posted February 2, 2014 Okay as far as i can tell bridles do absolutely nothing while there being a very positive easy to implement and very helpful thing for them to be able to do. Not have to use a rope on a horse equipped with one every single time that you get on and off of it. With wagons coming out this is really going to be needed unless they plan to extend number of animals lead by one because it takes 4 to actually drive it. Posted February 2, 2014 When it was made that horses equipped with saddles wouldn't move away, there was a bid to change that function to bridles, also was suggested that horses with bridles would be auto-led on dismount. No changes like that so far.Bridles are supposed to make the horse turn faster, but its kinda negligible.
Posted February 2, 2014 The turning arc of a Horse being reduced while wearing a Bridle has not, and never in my time at least been true, seems to be more of a myth. But I've liked the idea of having the Horse able to be led through the Bridle.+
Posted February 2, 2014 This would be a useful and reasonable use. +
Posted February 5, 2014 Thought id bump this back up.
Posted February 6, 2014 +1 to this would love to see bridles actually do something Also wouldn't mind them actually showing on the horse as well if nothing else
Posted February 6, 2014 You can ride one and lead 3 but yeah ... bridles enabling "autolead on dismount" would rock, and leading 4 animals *on foot* would rock even more. Save us lots of clicketyclick on prepping a wagon.
Posted February 7, 2014 The initial idea is just to let them be leadable without grabbing a rope every time because 4 horses for the wagons is a bit of a pain to keep spamming to hitch and re-hitch. Tho i do like the idea off adding the auto led and being able to lead 4. Maybe if add a special item for them like a Hitch yoke? That way you can move all 4 at the same time. Posted February 7, 2014 Increased the number of animals that you can lead to 4 as suggested aboveAlso allowing leading of horses that have a bridle without the use of a rope. Soon!

Posted February 7, 2014 It was rumored to a while back if I recall.
Posted February 7, 2014 Its been rumored but allot of controversy if it actually does that.
Posted February 9, 2014 Its been rumored but allot of controversy if it actually does that. I guarantee you it doesn't.
Posted February 9, 2014 Well then that makes it even more prudent that we get them to do atleast one of the suggested above things. No point in having a ingame item that just does nothing.
Posted February 12, 2014 Why bump? Tich said its in the works

Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) Well i just found out in another section of the forums that they allow horses to be led without a rope, but something else has to be active due to coding. Totally useless but hey it does "something". Â nvm what Tich said above, i read on bug section afaik. Edited February 14, 2014 by Rushy
Posted February 14, 2014 The turning radius was speculation when bridles were added. Personally I never saw a difference even at varying speeds.
Posted February 15, 2014 ... Its already in. just walk up to a horse with a bridle on a right click > lead. I've been leading horses with whatever i had active, sickles, shovels, butchers knives, flint and steel.....
