Posted February 1, 2014 I was in a mine but the game must have thought I was on the hill above the mine. Every mob on top of the mine was able to target and attack me but I was not able to respond or get away. I finally made it out of the mine and into a lake and they didn't follow. There were people with me and they said I was running away but I could not see them. I don't know if they were in the mine or outside. When I logged back in, they were there. Also, I move 3 tiles and the game freezes for about 2 seconds. I have turned most things down to almost nothing but it doesn't help. FPS dropped from 60 to 12. Textures are blurry. Trees seem to cause the game to completely come to a halt when they load. My boat also went into a crazy spin and the server told me slow down?I know this gives you absolutely no info to work with but I have no idea what is happening or causing it or why. Posted February 1, 2014 Post a copy of your console log so that the tech savvy people can take a look and maybe catch something that may be causing your issues. Your log can be found in your Wurm folder with a name similar to console.playername. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted February 1, 2014 I wasn't stuck. I was moving just fine. I was not where the game thought I was. I was in a mine. The game thought I was outside or something above the mine. Spiders on the hill outside were attacking me as if I were outside. To get away from them, I had to go outside of the mine and into a lake. It was something internal with my positioning between where the client thought I was and where the server thought I was. Other than try to run and not die from being attacked by things I can't see, there's not much I could have done about it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted February 1, 2014 yeah there's been a bug that causes horses to run up on a hill if you enter a cave will leading them.. they'll just hover over wherever you are underneath, and rejoin you when you come back out (assuming they don't get stuck on some random house wall or something.) Posted February 2, 2014 There's never anything sensitive in the console log aside from the name of your computers user account that you're on and the names of folders, if you'd even consider that sensitive info. Was this a one of? If so it might have been caused by a glitch in your positioning when you entered a cave. The client was displaying you being in one place while the server thought you were somewhere else. That's why people saw you somewhere where you thought you werent if that makes sense. However if this happens from time to time randomly, next time it happens go google speedtest and go to the Speedtest.net result which should be the first one. Run a speed test on a server near you on the little map and post the results here. Do this while still ingame. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted February 2, 2014 I have had this only happen twice. Once was a month or so ago and I was stuck in a wall. That time, I didn't survive it. But that's not the strange part. The strange part was my cart was some 10 to 15 tiles away from where I was stuck when I logged back in. As far as I know, other than those two times, it's never happened before where I was at a place different than I saw myself at.In hindsight, the server troubles started shortly after this. It may well have been some kind of communications issue. I noticed today when the login server had a hiccup that I got the "You cannot perform actions while teleporting" or similar and the day I had the strange cave thing it was telling me to slow down quite often later that evening. So I do believe it is related to the current issues with the server now that I know there are issues with it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
