Posted January 31, 2014 Elder Scrolls Online went up for pre-purchase some days ago. Now, since I always get rejected for game beta testing ( I wonder why ... ) I didn't manage to try the game and I feel a bit reluctant to purchase a 50e+ game and then have to pay 12e more monthly to keep playing it. They clearly set the price really high, so they either have some very decent product or are a bunch of scammers looking to quickly steal our hard earned money. I feel that wurm players are the best testers since they have a good taste of gaming. Did anyone play the beta and what's his opinion on the game ? Does it worth the money ? Posted January 31, 2014 it is a watered down version of oblivion you have to play online pay an initial 54euro and 12e a month. i will give it one year and they are f2p. actually by then i will play it every now and then but not for the price they are asking for now. so don't get me wrong, it is not a bad game. it is just a bad price and a subscribtion based game. Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) They spent more money on the cinematic trailers than they did on the game.I didnt get into it either but with a cash shop + subscription fee + really expensive game(100$ for the collectors edition) i dont want to try it. Also the fact that it looks 100% like skyrim and it more or less relies on the huge fanbase as opposed to the quality of the game so they expect it to succeed because it has a huge fanbase. Oh and its coming to consoles, need i say more? People will have to pay for xlive on top of the game price and subscription prices. Posted January 31, 2014 Looking to test it in Future. Gonna wait for first decent feedback once game been up for a bit, aint going to rush throwing my money away as i have done for so many other games before.. Still it somehow feels that it will be somewhat a fail, idk, just getting same vibes as with Aion and Rift (was fun, but not for so long to keep me playing for years..) Posted February 1, 2014 whole family beta tested. 3 of 5 getting the game. one brother is going imperial. I'm still not sure if i even want to play, i'm not into thehardcore mmorpg as i use to be and i don't want to spend that much money on something i might only play for a few months. Posted February 11, 2014 Ingame graphics are the best iv ever seen in an mmo (all settings on ultra high tho), also it feels familiar and fast paced.
