To finish my sailboat master Max. I have a rare hull plank, but's it from pinewood. If i used rare tar, I could have the type of wood i want and also have a chance of turning it rare

Coal makers get a fair bit of rare tar if we are lucky enough to make a rare pile.  So to get rare tar you could also try to make a rare coal pile with rare dirt, kindling or logs. If you do get lucky, finish off the pile with the highest ql you can and maybe ask a coal maker to attach them for you as you will get a lot more rare stuff out of the pile that way. Good luck.
