Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Okay, quick story. Friday I was able to log in fine, saturday morning I was at the hospital, and planning to be there for at least saturday, and maybe all of today as well I brought my laptop to play wurm. Hospital only allowed Port: 80. So I was unable to play. Then, i tried changing proxies or messing with that after some googling, so I changed some settings in my firefox browser (only place I did anything). It didn't work so I removed the settings, and turned it back to auto-detect proxy. I am home now and unable to launch the client, I am not sure if it is unrelated or not. I have updated java, removed wurm from the javaws -viewer, and removed the certificate in the java settings. Tried again and still all it does is bring the java splash on screen, then it dissapears and nothing happens afterwards. However if I open the task manager and check processes, I can see the process running, but only using like 30,000 k, as opposed to hundreds of thousands when i'm actually playing the game. I have not restarted the computer since doing all of this, so i'm going to do that now and will check back. I'll also be in IRC trying to hash it out with anyone who has some knowledge and is willing to help there. Restarted, still no luck :\ I have not received any crash logs or anything up to this point. Posted January 27, 2014 Try to check your IP online (from the default browser) and see if you are connected directly from net.Steps:- run wurm launcher- from launcher info click on any link and it will open it in your default browser- write address http://www.whatismyip.com/ in browser bar- check if your ip matches your peoviderIf it does it means it is not the change you made.Let me know the result. Posted January 27, 2014 Solved, i went back and changed my browser settings for "auto-detect proxy' to 'no proxy' and it fixed it. I guess i was wrong and I just thought it was originally set to auto-detect.
