Posted January 24, 2014 I tried purchasing premium and silver coins in the shop with my MasterCard debit card which I put $40 on today, which is more than enough. However, it keeps saying the bank that issues my card denied the purchase, or didn't accept the purchase, and to call them. I purchase youtube videos often with this card, In fact I bought one just yesterday, and it worked fine. I'm not calling the card company for this purchase when the card works fine for other things. I'll probably just spend the money somewhere else. I bought premium and silver once with a Visa debit card without problems. So why is my MasterCard not good enough for you? I would have really liked to have gone premium and bought some coins to up my skills past 20 and buy some epic gear from other players to replace the epic gear I bought before that I am quickly wearing out. However, if I can't purchase currency to replace my gear as it gets worn out, there's no way I'll be able to continue this game for long even as a free player. My gear will get worn out and even with my 20 fighting skill I will be useless against most monsters.

Posted January 24, 2014 They accept my mastercard just fine. I think it is worth giving them a call and seeing what they say, instead of placing all the blame immediately on the processors.

I really just don't feel like it, why should I have to call them up for just this game when I've never had to when ordering things from China, buying videos off youtube, shopping on Amazon, or making transactions in other games? There are plenty of other places to spend my money online which are much less of a hassle. If a couple of Chinese hillbillies can process my payment info, I don't see what' the hold-up here is. Who knows, but it really could be something your card issuer is preventing, so without calling them, you can't be sure it isn't their fault as opposed to CodeClub's or their 3rd party processors. As someone who runs a retail store, i see this come up sometimes in the store i work at. To flip the coin: They don't have a problem processing all of the other MasterCards through their system, but apparently yours won't go through, so we can only assume it is your card issuer's fault right? Point is: The next step to solving this is: Calling your card issuer so they can help resolve it, there may be more steps after, for example contacting the third party merchant after talking to your issuer. Nobody can help you if you don't want to help yourself.
Posted January 24, 2014 Sometimes I had holds put on my card as a security measure. Too many foreign transactions made them think my card was stolen. Is that a possibility?
Posted January 24, 2014 Same thing happened to a visa gift card of mine. Read the "details" in your card, if I recall ( quite recently), quite a few credit card companies have disabled/removed the ability for gift cards/some debit cards to make international transactions.. Wurm being in Sweden... even through paypal or whatever, it still will not work.. :/ sorry.

So I don't think that's the case, I'm afraid. I filed a support ticket on my cardholder's website asking them to stop blocking my purchases from this site. Maybe that will work. If not I'm going to be pretty disappointed.
