'Flatten' for Surface Mining

This would be really helpful, it doesn't make sense that we can do this in solid rock mines and not on the surface of rock outside of mines.

as flatten you must mean level and this was already suggested on this week

Flatten raises other corners too, so I dont really see how it would be possible without help of concrete.

 

-1 because ive surfacemined over 15.000 rocks and dont think this would really benefit us.

Surface mining is intended to be a pain, if the landscape were easily changed to that degree we would wind up without mountains in time

If we have it for digging, why Level option couldnt work at least downwards for surface mining.

Let's suggest to make concrete making easier first. Then, all the naysayers about how "the outside terrain shouldn't be changed as easily" will have no leg to stand on because 1) concrete isn't so hard to make, and their mountains could be remade with it  and 2) manipulating rock tile is not really any different than manipulating a dirt tile. Changing the landscape is still changing the landscape.
