A couple buddies of mine have already bought ships (Super Hornet, Cutlass, Hornet, and Aurora) and if anyone wants to join us when alpha comes out! I've heard a lot of hype about the rift too, been wondering about that thing. The videos and reviews I've seen on it have given me mixed impressions. I've owned several pairs of video glasses and a couple of other VR items, and I have to say the head tracking seems much better in that thing then with my vuix 920 which is a crappy magnetic tracking system. My IR tracker is a bit buggy and dosen't work well with my laptop, I'm hopeing the Rift will solve that issue, though most ppl who have reviewed it so far are reserving judgement. Posted November 14, 2013 I've had issues with motion sickness after just 2 mins with the rift on, sometimes even faster. After using it for a bit it got better and better, just keep building up your resistance against it. A week later I could keep it on for a hour without problems which, in my eyes, is a pretty good improvement. its back to the friend now who owns it, he plays it for 12 hours a day easily... Posted November 15, 2013 I was looking at getting the 350r simply for the speed but I'm sad they don't offer it, unless you pay like $1150 for that Admiral package. If I play, I think I'll just go with Arbiter package, $80, which includes the 325a Fighter. I'm hopeful I will be able to upgrade that, though, sometime.
