Posted October 15, 2013 What do you all think about some sort of reward system for being a loyal player? There could be tiers depending on how long your account has been premium. For example the following tiers, and increasingly desirable rewards the longer you have played. 6 months12 months18 months24 months and so on For every tier you reach, you get to choose a rare and useful reward from a list of available rewards with a value consistent with the tier. Posted October 15, 2013 I think it would be more of an incentive to keep accounts premium, and don't really see how it would divide newer players from the older players? I was actually thinking unique and valuable items that you couldn't get anywhere else for the higher tier rewards. Posted October 15, 2013 Sounds just a bit too much to be honest. Think about it though. It's meant not only to reward dedicated players, but encourage people to keep accounts premium. Posted October 15, 2013 Im a bit sceptic about this suggestion. In wurm long time players do allready have huge advantages to newcommers. If the rewards are not chosen very carefully the above mentioned gap between new and old players can become even much deeper and thus harm the game. Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Reminds me of UO I'm all for verteran rewards, but perhaps make it so you earn a fixed amount of reward points for every month that you're premium. And then based on your account age you would have access to more rewards. At account age 0 you could have some crappy rewards, account age of 1 year some fancier rewards that cost more reward points and so on... Posted October 15, 2013 yeah, it definitely needs to be payed via the shop. and rewards needs to be something you cannot "get" anywhere in the game through crafting etc. maybe some visual things like special armor or different looking boat. nothing that would give you a benefit over the other players when it comes to skills etc.. yeah would like to see something like that Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted October 16, 2013 Sounds a great idea if done correctly, I loved the rewards system in Ultima Online. Special dye barrels, cloaks (there's even a spot now ha!)Just keep the items cosmetic as to not imbalance PvP and make them no drop.
