Custom Item Names And Description For Rares+

Not a new idea but I didn't want to bump the cash-shop version of it because I dislike pay-for-privilege (not the point of thread though so don't get too excited).

Let a crafter get an option to put a custom name and eventually a description on an item when it turns rare/supreme/fanty.

• Option would come up on the successful action that caused the rarity.
• Standard word filter for the children's sake.
• Name available once rare. "Horse Beater (Rare Steel Staff)"
• Creation data added that would replace signature once supreme. "This supreme steel staff was crafted on the celebration server by Elen in the year 2305."
• Custom description of one line addable once item is fantastic. "The fantastic Horse Beater staff has played a crucial role in forum pvp throughout the years."

Example using rare steel staff:

Horse Beater (Rare Steel Staff)

That means if you rename an item badly it will simply lower it's price

That actually would be part of the point. The item would have a real name, that couldn't be erased. History, contention for ownership potentially, immersion, blah blah.

It's been suggested before, it's a nice idea. But renaming them worked for me so far.

I like the idea, but with the amount of rare tools/weapons being created, it would grow old quickly. Make it only Supreme and Fantastic items that get the name, so that way it would truly be a special item.

I like the Idea and to go further it would be nice to even have the possibility to add a small story to such items  would add something unique to this items.

I like this idea. I wouldn't mind something like this so long as you could not give bricks or planks silly names etc -- or sprouts for that matter.

Though the problem with renaming now is that most people rename their item after themselves so that their name is attached to it.
