Posted August 18, 2013 When you first run client it creates shortcut for launching wurm with smart update of launcher from site. It works fine if you use 32bit java but doesn't created when you use only 64bit version. Also it makes game run thru 32bit version if you have both of them. So in current situation to use 64bit java with client i need to redownload jnlp file each time when game updates or get crashes when trying to dual client with 32bit version. I was trying to change destination so it doesn't use wow64 but direct link to 64bit javaws.exe but in win 7 you aren't allowed to make links to program files directory yourself - only using trusted installer. Can this be fixed in future version so it checks for presence of 64bit java and make shortcut for correct version ?
Posted August 19, 2013 (edited) Behold! The wonders of batch files! http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/82478-recent-crashes-out-of-memory/ There's some other threads on 32x and 64x as well; however, this one doesn't always come up in searches.
