Posted July 23, 2013 I'm having an issue logging into the game. After start up, I find that I'm stuck in a corner of a friend's house, unable to turn, move, or see anything else other than the wall. The graphics are also pretty slow to load; I can see most of the trees and terrain, but as far as walls, buildings, or any kind of structure, they're covered in black pixels and won't load all the way. Here's a couple screencaps. I'm pretty much just glued to one spot and can't get out, no matter how many times I restart the game. I'm able to hear everything that's going on and sometimes I have an issue with the game becoming non-responsive, and this is the first time I've ever had and issue like this on my laptop. Can anyone help me? Maybe there's something in the settings I can change? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Posted July 23, 2013 Try turn of glsl in compability tab...the red shadows indicate that you are using intel hd and turning glsl of might help.
Posted July 23, 2013 Looks like graphics from the 'before' time.
Posted July 24, 2013 Much thanks to Thunderthor! Turning off the glsl fixed most of the graphics. I'm still getting those red shadows and I'm still pretty much stuck in the same spot. I managed to turn myself around a bit, but that's all I could manage. Anything else I might be able to change so I can move as well?
Posted July 24, 2013 There is some usefull information in this part of the forum that you can try that should help make the game run smoother. http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/63471-configuring-the-client-looking-nice-while-running-on-low-settings/ Also make sure you use 64bit java if you can it can make a difference too.
