Worst Glitch In Wurm History, Help!

Recommended Posts

I was killed by a spider, and it asked where to spawn as always. I choose where and it spawned me in the glitched out wall of a house.

I was stuck there for 2 days, my friends were trying to help me, but failed. All the commands were useless and were not working at all, saying "You are unable to use this command while teleporting". I've tried calling help from Game gods, no help at all.

After this, all my textures and models are bugged out, while I have decent settings.

Here is the evidence

I've lost 2 days for absolutely nothing. No one was able to help me, and I don't think anyone will. If you read this, please contact me in game and fix this ###### for me, I've been playing wurm for quite some time, but I never seen anything like this. I also ask for refund in one month membership.

Might be a stupid question but have you tried re-downloading everything again? A month of prem refunded is a pretty big demand for 2 days of lost play time imho, even if it was 1s I still don't think they would give it to you... but who knows :P best of luck

in compatibility, disable everything and save it. then relog. also run unstable client if not doing so already.

may or not help, but wont hurt to try. good luck

Well it's far from being the worst glitch in Wurm history.

What's your account name, and what server are you on?

As far as refunds go, I'll be brutally honest, 1 month premium is not happening.

Disabling GLSL support will fix the texture problem iirc. But I don't think you getting stuck in a wall had anything to do with the textures messing up.

So you are stuck in a wall but manage to take screens standing on a cobble "road"?

And after you did get stuck the textures started to acting weird?

Im not sure but looks like you have some missing packs there, you should reinstall wurm and redownload all packs.

Try this:

- open command prompt (use shortcut in startmenu or run -> type cmd).

- type command: javaws -viewer

- when java window opens, right click on installed wurm client and delete it.

- reinstall and be sure all packs are downloaded.

Also noticed your display drivers might be outdated and your are running this on laptop. Im pretty sure you need to download graphics driver from your computer manufacturers site and install them. Official nvidia or ati drivers won't probably run normally. If you are on older laptop, HP for example, you might have hard way to find correct drivers, unfortunately they don't seem to do much for old customers :(

If you are on 64bit system, you might want to try to change to 64 bit java.

Try this:

- remove old java versions from add/remove programs.

- download this and install:

http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=79065

Also noticed your settings are little mess there.

I suggest you set following on advanced graphics:

- Bumpmapped terrain, check

- Pretty trees, check

- Antialiasing level to max 2

- Model loading threads to max 2

- Model loading thread priority to normal

- Field of View to 80

And compatibility tab (try these only if nothing else helps):

Try this:

- First set GLSL shader support to Core and try to run. If it crash, set this to Disabled.

- set VBO support to Core

And if that doesn't work, try setting all drop-menus on compatibility tab to core.

- Cormax

EDIT:

- typos

I said that I was stuck in the wall, but when I rejoined once, I was able to get out of there fast enough, before the map generation was going to capture me in it agian
