Posted June 17, 2013 Greetings everyone. So I am trying to download Wurm. I have done this successfully twice before with no problems. However, now when I try to download it it freezes on the file called client/wurmclient.jnlp It's not just downloading slow, because I left it on all night and it was still stuck on the same file. Posted June 18, 2013 You download the wurmclient.jnlp (Java Network Launching Protocol) from the website as you press the play button and save it somewhere on your computer. The .jnlp file is like 8 Kb in size.You must have misunderstood something. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted June 18, 2013 Are you sure you have saved the latest version of the launcher (.jnlp) from the website? Usually that's the issue for not starting up. From as far as I understand you're not even getting the login screen? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted June 19, 2013 I am pretty sure it's the latest. I did as you said and clicked on the play button and saved the file. Also, yes I am not getting the login screen. Could it be the download itself? Because I am pretty sure there is a download phase before verifying and I am not getting that.
