We Need Boat/ship Trailers To Carry Our Boats And Ships

Recommended Posts

It would be really nice if we could have a boat trailer this would allow us who are not connected to the ocean to pick our boats up and bring them to the ocean or lake. We can also deliver boats via roads.

Or we could do it like the vikings using logs to move our boats over land

for example it would take:

200 wheels
495 pegs
35 felled trees
2 seats
8 mooring rope
23 rope
14 thick rope
4 yoke

-------------------------

speed with out animals 0.70 -1.20 km/h and with animals 5 km/h

-------------------------

30 body strength

27.80 Mind Logic

-------------------------

animals, you can hitch up to 4 "4 animals will give you a top speed of 4-5 km/h"

with animals you can go up a 20-25 slope but it will be slower so 4 animal + 25 slope = 1.02 km/h and with out animals you can only pass a 5-12 slope.

An idea like this would belong in the 'Suggestions/Ideas' thread. Also wish to say, 200 wheels is a lot, maybe dial that down to say 100 or less.

A ship harness is what you need.

Essentially it a contraption on wheels with large uprights. There would be leather straps or even cordage rope strung between each upright. You would push it into the water and sail a boat into it ( no mean feat in itself ). Them right click contraption and moor to it.

Once done it's a simple matter of pulling it out of the water. I'm thinking at least 35 body strength would be needed.

In RL we have had quite a few boats and recently used something much like thus to pull our cat out of the water so we could antifoul it.

Thank your lucky stars that we don't need to antifoul our boats in Wurm.

Or revert back to last is inventory is the owner of the boat, so people could actually build boats by the water and not in carts, fences and houses.

The op is not about building boats. It's about being able to move them into a safe place after they are made, or a deed that isn't next to the coast.

I'd limit it to rowing boats and small sailing boats.

There's always the pull/push option. Incredibly slow and frustrating, but in the end it can accomplish a move.... at least a short one.

Just add the "tow" option with mooring rope...

It would work as long as it required more stuff to carry larger boats or it would be op so as long as their was more work to do it would make sense

+1 :) It should be slow, maybe like 5 km/h with heaviest ship loaded. The ship should have empty inventory. Stops on steep slopes (25?).
