What's Your Setup For Wurm?

Recommended Posts

Haven't upgraded my PC for years outside of pickling up some additional RAM

i7 920 2.6ghz OC to 3.8ghz

16GB DDR3

Nvidia GTX560

1TB + 2TB Western Digital Green's

Might pick up a SSD eventually, but currently my PC handles anything I throw at it - Wurm is the only game that laggs at times, don't see a reason to upgrade.

The overall quality of life improvement from upgrading to an SSD is the most important reason to get one, imo.

My setup:

AMD 8-core FX-8120 Zambezi processor 3.1ghz

Gigabyte GA-990FX motherboard.

The processor is liquid cooled with an Antec Kuhler H20 620 system.

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

120gig Crucial M4 Solid State Drive

1TB Western Digital Green data drive.

16 gigs of Kingston HyperX DDR3 memory.

G-Force GTX-560 video card with 2gigs DDR5 ram.

Antec 900 gaming case with filtered fans

750w Rosewill Xtreme continuous power supply.

Logitech G11 (old faithful) keyboard

23" Acer widescreen LCD monitor.

I don't have speakers, but rather a Plantronics circumaural GameCom 777 stereo headset.

I can play 2-3 clients easily. I max all graphics settings except for caves which I keep at lowest setting.

I also vsync and force my FPS to 60 because if I don't I usually get 150-200 fps, which is just not necessary.
