You can. Save it to file, edit text or delete (whole line) and load. Notepad and Search are your friends.

Would it possible to export a writ plan from a deed plan so it could then be imported into another design? possible have a "library" or writs that could be selected from within a deed plan.

custom template-house designs, this  sounds like a very good idea to put in :D

We could even exchange good designs on the forum :P

*cough* how do you start it? *cough*

tried javaws -viewer from run, nothing in there. Not an .exe or anything in the folders unless I've missed it.  Help Mr Funkytard out and point out the droolingly obvious.

Command should be:

javaws.exe -jar DeedPlanner.jar

but sometimes, JAVA associations in Windows going into thin air, and reinstalling JAVA do nothing to fix it.

If you use "Open with" and chose javaws.exe as application to run with, it uses it as

javaws.exe DeedPlanner.jar

which is not good, since JAVA application don't recognize JAVA JAR files ;p, it need "-jar" option to do that.

You have two choices:

  1. edit Windows register and fix this association by hand
  2. run JARFix program which do it for you

After that, double click will do.

For whatever reason, the tiles at the far north of my deed in the planner will not respond to elevation changes at all. Anyone had this happen before?

it is a bug expand the sides of your map and it will fix it seems to work in a square so if you have 10 extra tiles on the side it works for 10 on the top.

Hey, is there a way to rotate a deed planner map?

I received a plan to work with - unfortunately the creator planned with south pointing upwards :( . So I would like to rotate the whole map by 180 degrees to have north up. Don't know it it's possible...

Can't you just rotate the other plan? ;)

Sorry, I think I was unclear. The plan she gave me *is* a Deed Planner file, and it's upside down. I want to work with it, but I'd like to have it correctly orientated, so I want to rotate it by 180 degrees. Guess I can't...

Well it isn't that he hasn't done a lot of work, because he certainly has, it's just that I've been looking forward to the new update since June I think is when he announced it coming in a "couple weeks"

Hopefully it'll be awesome just like the rest of the app!

Sorry if this was addressed, but 34 pages is a long post to look through.

When i try to run deedplanner.jar from windows (win7 x64  JRE 7.0.90) I get   "could not find the main class Form.HouseCalc.  Program will exit."

I have tried downloading it from multiple machines using multiple browsers and always the same thing.

I also tried running from the command prompt using "C:\programresideshere>javaws.exe -jar deedplanner.jar"

i get a dialogue for usage listing some of the more common switches,

When I try to do the same without the -jar switch I get
