Deedplanner 2.9.10 - 3D House And Deed Planner

Recommended Posts

Got another bug report for you, Warlander. Sandstone fences claim they require Marble bricks instead of Sandstone bricks.

Hey Warlander! Here to make a small suggestion.

Is there any way trees can appear flat (similar to the way you did farm tiles, with the different icons maybe) in 2D mode?

I want to plan trees but it's next to impossible to see anything around them.

+1 to the above suggestion. In 2009-2010, I used a 2D-only planner called Mapper, that had trees in 2D. If it's possible to see something similar in Deedplanner, that would be very awesome.

There is an option to hide trees in 2d view (under the "view" menu), better solution might come later but isn't planned so far.

DeedPlanner 2.8.8 released! Changes:

  • Added async texture loading
  • Maps sent to Pastebin are now compressed before being sent - this enables use of Pastebin for much larger maps than before (GZIP compression with output converted to Base64)
  • Slightly optimized mesh rendering by removing unnecessary OpenGL calls
  • Fixed two incorrect bridge model mappings
  • Fixed bug making models scaling work incorrectly for models with multiple meshes
  • Fixed sandstone fences using wrong materials to build
  • Fixed mappings for amphora and planter racks

This is first public release using GitHub Releases instead of Dropbox.

I'm going on vacations from 1st to 14th August, so this is most likely the last release before I will come back.

Thank you, Warlander. You're awesome. :)

I also have a few older errors for you. Was hoping someone else would had posted these, but it looks like I have to;

1. Sandstone slabs/bricks don't show up on a freshly created Export.

2. Lavender hedges show up as wooden fences on a freshly created Export.

3. After exporting my deed and throwing it in DP, the token's needle is pointing South (instead of North). I can send you my .MAP file if needed.

4. When doing an arched bridge in DP, it doesn't matter what steepness I pick as it always defaults to 5.

Do have fun with your vacation, Warlander.

You can change floor you are currently on in top left - going up allows you to build higher floors while going down first switches from surface to cave view while going even lower allows you to build higher floors below the surface.

I don't have possibility to check right now, but from what I remember by default it's done either with mouse scroll, shift/ctrl keys and r/f keys or combination of these.

Please make sure you run the program from DeedPlanner directory by running the program start command ("java -jar DeedPlanner.jar") directly from this directory.

Couldn't copy the error message text properly, so here's a print screen. Can see most of what's important likely. :)

When does this happen?

It happened again. It seems to happen when I place a T arch somewhere randomly in the air on like the 3rd floor on a tile that does not have any walls/floors below, and is a large slope.

I have no problem running this in Mac OS Sierra (10.12.6)  you may want to add mac to your list of tested versions.

I will take a look at them soon - could I just ask for screenshots of single banner of each of these PMK's please? I will deduce everything else from there.

Small heads up - starting with next version, DeedPlanner will use Google Analytics to collect the usage data - this feature will be on all the time, but before first launch after this version release you will be shown information message about that asking if you want to use the program despite of that or not.

All data will be sent anonymously, only things that are important for program development will be sent - most personal of them being your system and graphics card data, everything else being related to usage of program itself and its configuration.

Why do I want to collect it? Currently I have no way at all to monitor how the program is used, so I can only decide on development priorities based on user feedback in this thread/private messages and my own initiative - both aren't most reliable to see the big picture.
