Posted April 17, 2013 I've always wondered what the gods would look like (if they even had a visible form) and this picture of Libila is really freakin' good, much better than I ever could have even imagine that Libila would look. Also I think this drawing should be in Town Square because it is ultra Wurm related!This should be on one of the loading screens as you log into Wurm. Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) The first picture:+ I like the amount of detail in the hair, it's very pretty- The boobs look weird. It's not that they're not "pronounced", it's more of a problem with them being lumpy on top. Typically when wearing a corset or similar the boobs become round at the top, which I can tell is what you've been aiming for. Though if you look at the right boob, the one closest to the viewer, you can see that it's got a flat curve towards the cleavage area, while being round towards the armpit- The arm lacks depth, which makes the sleeve ornaments appear hanging in the air, or being pinned to the arm. I'd pronounce the curvature of the shoulders with more detailed shadowing to make the arm show more. Apart from that it's a very well drawn arm+ The amount of detail and depth in the picture is very nice, it's visible that a lot of time went into making this!- The amount of depth on the sleeve ornaments (the little stones) and the horns lack depth in relation to the rest of the picture- I cannot tell which way she's turned since part of her back is visible upon taking a closer look, but only one wing. When I first glanced at it it looked as though she was facing the viewer more with her boobs, but that doesn't quite add up when looking at the boobs and the back at the same time.+ Your technique for shading is neat and tidy- The ear looks somewhat malplaced, It should be further back and set lower. The back of her head is pushed a little too much to the right in relation to the face+ The detailed wing looks really good, almost as if you had a live bird to use for reference!It's a really nice painting and it's fun to see Wurm fanart As for the second one:I love it! The overall style and hair is even better in this one and the only thing I have comments about is that the top of her head curves inwards a bit too soon. The entire picture follows the same stylistic reference frame and all the details go very well together. Her facial expression is very good too, so much emotion captured! Not a Bad drawing though the horns bug me most....they just don't seem right.Also how the neck connects to the head.....unless the distortion there is meant to be some sort of snake like effect.And yes the ear could be back a a bit farther...I'll stop there.You do have good ability in what you are doing keep it up.
