Posted February 4, 2009 How could of no one said WATCHMEN? Too many recent hero movies Watchmen is about power and about the idea of a superman manifested within society not unlike our own, it's a fascinating read and the movie appears to be staying very true to the novel. The theatrical release will be shortened but the DVD is slated to be over 3 hours long, which sounds about right. It's not your typical good vs evil movie in any way. Also, DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION. Sounds cool... But I still wouldn't watch it. The Dark Knight and Ironman are the only super hero movies I have enjoyed simply because of The Joker (for The Dark Knight) and the fact that I read Ironman comic books as a kid and would have to say he is my favorite superhero (although Warmachine's suit looked cooler)

That's the worst excuse I've ever heard for judging a movie.

Posted February 8, 2009 ironman 2 (I know it's out on DVD already) transformers 2 watchmen batman 3 (I'm assuming there will be a 3rd) startrek I've been watching all the bond movies (well, rewatching some) I'm upto goldeneye & I'm looking forward to watching the rest. Rise of the lycans I'm sure there are more, but none come to mind atm. Good time to be a SciFi, superhero &/or fantasy fan. These kinds of movies hold a lot of box office records atm, so there should be plenty more coming ;D http://www.boxofficemojo.com/ Something else that has been on my mind lately is Will Smith not making comedies anymore. Even Hancock which was billed as a comedy was not very funny & had lots of drama in it. I hope he goes back to comedy after he gets his oscar or whatever it is he wants from all these serious roles > Although, I really liked I am Legend.
