[Done] Horse Gear/speed Test

don't know where to put this or if anyone is interested but was doing some speed tests on gear of my horse

Horse used was a 4 trait 2 spd wearing iron barding, toon was carrying (total around 60kg) wearing half plate/half chain

[00:48:59] It will fight fiercely. It has lightning movement. It can carry more than average. It has keen senses.

12.95,(12.25),[12.95],{10.80} with no spd procs

12.99,(13.6),[14.4],{12.2} with carry more

15.1,(15.8),[16.5],{14.4} with lightining

16.5,(17.3),[18],{15.8} with both spd procs

with 70ql shoes unsaddled,(30ql saddle),[71ql saddle],{unshoed 71ql saddle}

This wiki page says (or did say, just told someone about this so they may update it) that only shows with 50 QL or > matter for bonus.

This isnt true.

Tested on a horse with no traits, QL 43, 33, 32, 31 shoes, horse went from 16.55 on flat ground to 18.00

From a wiki edit (on pristine, 3/19/13 [Redacted] <(redacted)> i put a 43, 33, 32, 31 on a horse with no traits, went from 16.55 to 18.00)

Updated wiki to reflect this new info

The speed enhancement depends on the quality of the equipped horseshoes. 50 QL is required for any bonus {New information suggest that this is no longer the case, more research needed, see http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/77108-horse-gearspeed-test/ for more info}. A bonus of .24 km/hr is gained for each shoe at QL50, another .24 km/hr at QL70, and a final .24 km/hr at QL90

i did some further testing in the 200-250 and 260+ range, both ranges gave an equal speed bonus over the preceding range, i cannot test further as i cant produce higher q shoes, but it seems likely that the bonus continues at a rate of .71 km/h until max q
