[Solved] Stuck In Loop On Login Due To Broken Pipe

Edit: Marked as solved in the title, as at least two of are now able to log in again on our

accounts. Does anybody still have trouble?

I'm not sure if the cause of the bug is client side or server side, so feel free to move this post.

I am currently having trouble logging in. The login procedure runs fine until the splash screen

disappears and the world begins loading. Then the splash screen reappears and disappears

in an infinite loop.

According the log the issue is due to a broken pipe, so it might be on the server side the

problem lies.

I have tried logging in on three different accounts, and on both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04,

and with both Oracle Java 6 and 7. The attempt on Windows was performed on a fresh

download of Wurm with vanilla settings and empty cache. The server I'm trying to log into

is Celebration. All the characters are located at the deed New Jutland Plains.

I did not have any trouble logging in about 12 hours ago (7 AM CET).

Same problem as me and a few others m8, was after today's update/maintenance it happened. Oddly enough it's my toons on Celeb, just south of you, that are having the problem.

I now have 3 characters this is happening to. They all wandered into an area that causes this reconnecting loop. They're all around Darkmalice's island "The Dark Isle" and "Crater Lakes Sanctuary" in the southwest. Been trying to track down that command that turns off rendering to see if that's an issue or not.

Yeah, if you're within 200 tiles of Dark Island you hit the 'bermuda square' and won't get logged in until a gm ports you out.

I thought this would be sorted today but hey ho.

Its caught me too. Trying to circumnavigate the server was not a good idea. Fingers crossed it gets fixed soon

People need to remove there Bugged buildings there. I know for a fact that is causing the problam. Yesterday on exodus same thing happend, untill i removed the 2 buged sheds i made the night before. Then they area went back to normal. So who ever lives there one of ya building a building to conjoin others. Remove that building and any others made to combined buildings and problam fixed.

I get this an all of my toons - Exo and Deli - i cant remove bugged buildings because i cant login ^^

I think its time for a solution dear Developers....

I think it was caused by the hole in Stenen's fence ripping a tear in Wurm's time space fabric. He should really get that fixed.

problem solved for me by destroing one buged house (the last house i build)
