Jumping

Recommended Posts

Hasn't been suggested since wurm became 3D ( multistory ). so here it is! It's usefulness . none... But it helps make the game feel so much more alive to be able to frolic down the insanely long highways to nowhere. .. Plus I feel like my thumb muscles are slowly decaying as I play wurm.. I go as far to bind things like improve and dig to space just to get some thumb workouts. Let us frolic Rolf!!! We need to FROLIC!!!

May I recommend:

bind space examine ;)

Jumping is a maybe, but I don't see much point for it because we wouldn't want to jump over fences and break the security of other players, likewise without better in-game physics I wouldn't expect to see Wurmians doing very good ravine jumps.

+1 for fancy frolicking, although really, why cant i just hop low fences, even without a jump action ~ game balance would still be there, just aesthetics would suffer a bit

Not even thinking of a full out jump, just a hop.. Imagine how high a 400lb fat guy can jump... yeah it's that epicly high...

Could give woven fences collision that you can jump over, likewise small hedges? So that we don't just walk through them x)

crouching for (slowly) sneaking past aggro mobs - reducing their aggro range :D

Your trouble with jumping is going to be the instant death you will suffer from the fall damage of being 2ft in the air.

P.s. bind space activate is the way forward
