Make Village Tab Open Automatically

Make the village tab open automatically just like how the alliance tab opens automatically when you log on.

you can simply do it yourself by editing the autorun.txt in your config file by adding

" say /village "

works also with

say /sleep - but not really required anymore

First thing I do as soon as I log in, is start closing tabs so I'd prefer not adding more, or alternately having some way we can toggle them off and stay off (you can do this with /CA so must not be that hard; never tested it with alliance)

No thanks, how about us hermits? it is annoying enough that alliance tab opens every log in.

Why not also the freedom and gl-freedom tabs auto opens as well?

Maybe a toggle should be added for what tabs should stay open when you log in.

Part of my autorun.txt file:

//closes kchat right off the bat.

say /kchat

//tells me how much sleep bonus I have.

say /sleep

//turns on village chat

say /village

//starts the irc server connection in-game.

/irc

//creates or joins channel #name.

/ircsay /join #nameofchannelhere

It will execute automatically when you log in.

The // makes the program skip over those lines allowing to put in comments/notes for yourself so you know what it does 6-months from now

This file is on your main drive, probably C:

From there go to "Users" and the folder for the user you are on your computer.

In that folder --> go to Wurm --> configs --> default

I use default but you can set the autorun.txt file for each of your characters individually as well if that works better for you.

ps. you could also make keybinds for the channels you want I think, so it would be easier to open and close them as needed. Haven't tested this though.

Blek, no thank you. When I log in I have to close alliance, friends, freedom, GL Freedom

I don't need yet another one to have to close and toggle off every time I log into the game :/
