Plus the fact these other useful gifts which are ' ruining ' the economy would not have any effect like they do now if you would hand them out again or other items that make them less important.Keeping them rare only makes them influence the economy even more and shows a bit a favoritism if you ask me.The idea should be to give the players something useful as well not something they toss into a coffin and let rot away.Sure you can give 'cosmetic' gift, but to say we can't give anything really useful in game ever is kind of lame.Yeah the Santa hat is cute....to some extent but that's about it. They should have been features, introduced into the game as craftable. So me, and a very small minority, we're gonna post on the forums this guy has and whine over and over again about how screwed we're getting because we pay for a game that does not care about us. Posted December 25, 2012 Not to be too contrarian because I don't really care about the gift either way, but what are these other MMOs that you people are playing that don't give away anything for Christmas? I've played many MMOs from big to low budget and I can guarantee every one of them is doing SOMETHING for Christmas, and has for many years, just like Wurm has. I think saying that we shouldn't expect anything and that Wurm is in fact special for doing something is a bit of malarkey.Most of them don't "give" crap for gifts.. They make you do 30 quests for the final result. Here in Wurm you get to check a tree or ask Santa..Just as your jobs, phone service, city sewage, or even cable service isn't REQUIRED to hand out gifts.....Rolf doesn't HAVE to "give" us anything for Christmas.. There is such a thing as being grateful for what is handed to you. Santa for the gnome, tree for the hat. Who cares if it does anything!
