My Latest Project - Rebuilding Whispering Keep

Have knocked down the old one and replanned as a 7x8 with bastions/towers in the corners. Requires 80 carpentry skill to plan.

Going to go a few floors up with this floorplan and then vary it. Loving 1.0 here!

Some progress, you can see the plan for the ground floor almost complete, outer walls complete, inner planned but no flooring yet:

Today's update! First floor under construction.

And here you can see the road to the docks goes straight under the keep:

Some fun facts:

• Each floor is 38 outer walls, totalling 760 bricks and 760 mortar each
  
• There are 42 internal floor tiles
  
• Building this structure up to just 3 floors is comparible in some ways to a Collossus
  
• I intend to take the structure to at least 8 floors, but step back the floorplan after 4
  
• To get 80 carpentry, I ground out Shipbuilding from 50ish to 70 using small tackles (imping them). This took many weeks and continual use of sleep bonus. During this time I made no ships...

Haven't been working on this much since I started another project. Will continue it more soon
