Posted December 16, 2012 I have an update on this, apparently planting is a workaround for this. Dropping on a tile above does not work, and you can't plant beds so here's another workaround for that: press your face against the wall and drop the bed and finish it, the game will think you're placing the bed on the tile on the floor behind that wall.
