Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) I'm getting this occassionally, but most times its a complete video crash. The computer is still on but I have black screen on both monitors. I've tried windowed and resizeable windows...fullscreen just doesn't work. Everything is on either low or medium. I tried turning off the small monitor (not disabling it, just turning off the power button) and that didn't help. I've crashed 6 times today in 1 1/2 hours.I think I'm running the online version, not the unstable client. What can I do to fix this? I've tried adding the TDR timeout to 8 sec in the registry.Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120503-2030) Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: Gateway System Model: DX4820 BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz Memory: 8192MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 8192MB RAM Page File: 2959MB used, 13420MB availableUser DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: DisabledDisplay Devices (Small Monitor)--------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce GTX 570 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1086&SUBSYS_15733842&REV_A1 Display Memory: 4049 MB Dedicated Memory: 1233 MB Shared Memory: 2816 MB Current Mode: 1440 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz) Monitor Name: H213H (Analog) Monitor Model: H213H Monitor Id: ACR0087 Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (59.988Hz) Output Type: HDMI Driver Name: nvd3dumx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvd3dum,nvwgf2um,nvwgf2umDriver File Version: 9.18.0013.0697 (English) Driver Version: 9.18.13.697 DDI Version: 11 Driver Model: WDDM 1.1 Driver Attributes: Final Retail Driver Date/Size: 10/10/2012 21:23:48, 18252136 bytes WHQL Logo'd: Yes WHQL Date Stamp: Device Identifier: {D7B71E3E-53C6-11CF-4B59-7E351CC2C435} Vendor ID: 0x10DE Device ID: 0x1086 SubSys ID: 0x15733842 Revision ID: 0x00A1Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 (TV 32" Samsung in DVI mode) Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce GTX 570 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1086&SUBSYS_15733842&REV_A1 Display Memory: 4049 MB Dedicated Memory: 1233 MB Shared Memory: 2816 MB Current Mode: 1360 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz) Highest I can go due to refresh rates Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor Monitor Model: SAMSUNG Monitor Id: SAM02A3 Native Mode: 1360 x 768(p) (60.015Hz) Output Type: DVI Driver Name: nvd3dumx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvd3dum,nvwgf2um,nvwgf2umDriver File Version: 9.18.0013.0697 (English) Driver Version: 9.18.13.697 DDI Version: 11 Driver Model: WDDM 1.1 Driver Attributes: Final Retail Driver Date/Size: 10/10/2012 21:23:48, 18252136 bytes WHQL Logo'd: Yes WHQL Date Stamp: Device Identifier: {D7B71E3E-53C6-11CF-4B59-7E351CC2C435} Vendor ID: 0x10DE Device ID: 0x1086 SubSys ID: 0x15733842 Revision ID: 0x00A1 Edited December 15, 2012 by ktara

Posted December 16, 2012 I may have found the problem. I had the power setting on adaptive. I've turned that off and turned the graphics back up. So far so good.
