Fences And Multistory

Recommended Posts

Video Wossoo linked on twitter:

As you can see it's apparently possible to build fences (as I was hoping) on houses. This allows very cool castle designs like in the video, but also balconies.

Does anyone know if this is confirmed to be possible in 1.0?

Yes, its possible, unless they remove it. (It's possible on test server)

I know it is possible on the test server, that's where the video was made. What I want to know is if it will be there when 1.0 goes live. With SO many possibilities I would think it awful if this wasn't possible!

Fences will be possible and also three types of parapets/battlement walls for that purpose.

Should make for some nice building options then. Well done!

It's so exciting to see these features making it in to the live game. Towns are really going to be amazing to look at and visit now.

now we need the bridges to connect those two houses together

Yeah. For now we can use arched walls to make fake bridges from one house to the other though.

I don't know about that.. They are on two different levels of dirt. Seems to me that they would have two separate "footprints" and therefore unable to share walls. I could (and hope) be wrong.
