I would assume they will, since hell horses just use the existing model hued red. When you kill a hell horse you can see it looks like a black horse but actually has a colour assigned like normal ones. That said it's just my guess.

As has been mentioned before anything is an improvement over the previous eyes... they have peered into the Abyss.

Still that said, the new models do look nice, especially for horses of the era and place.
