Posted November 1, 2012 Sounds like Java is not linked to opening jnlp files for some reason.Which operating system do you have and I can provide instructions on correcting the problem. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted November 1, 2012 On the Windows Menu click 'Default Programs'.Click 'Associate a file type or protocol with a program', look in the list for .jnlp, click it and press 'Change program'If 'Java Web Start Launcher' is not listed click browse and navigate to program files/Java/jre7 (or Jre6 if your using Java 6) /bin and select javaws.exe. Once your back to the 'Open with' screen make sure 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' is selected and press ok.You should now be able to click on the links on the website/wiki etc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) I've just tried to play Wurm on a new laptop that has Windows 8, I've installed Java and when I press "Play", I get a blank white screen. I'm NOT very computer savy, so please make the solutions idiot friendly....lol I am also NOT impressed with Windows 8, had to install an app to give me the Start button.
