************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Please download zipped versions from alternate link, installer is evil.

Btw. Nomad, I took some care to make granger data much (much) less likely to ever get corrupted again. The only real way to lose it would be to lose the database file itself.

PS. For those curious, WA1 was keeping all data in memory (in objects) and just saving it to database periodically. WA2 is keeping all data actually in database and uses queries to work on that data, like a proper database app should.

I Dl 2.0.81 and I want to use my old Granger DB, how can i import it or use the Zip to overright the installer version?

Not yet doable, you can keep the using old granger if you don't want to readd your horses. I'll be adding the code to import old granger data on weekend.

Oh also I have an idea for the custom timer.. what if it implement IF, AND, and OR system? So to say, I want a timer for a blessing of the dark cast.. it require several things.. 5 minutes since fail OR 5 minutes since succeed AND it require X favor to cast. I would also dream this can calculate linked favor on different chars that logged in but I will be happy with just the IF AND OR :) .

5 minutes since fail OR 5 minutes since succeed

You can use regex as condition to accomplish this.

oh awesome.. any documentation yet of it? :P

uh.. I need it to alarm me when I have both enough favor and time limit is done to cast a spell. I think I will just use sound notifier when favor is enough.. it seems slower than time limit :P .

Hiya Aldur,

As you may remember I asked the other week about the location of the files to create a batch backup.  Now i'm creating a batch for Auto-Start.
(Someone asked about how to have WA2 run at startup, there is an easy way of doing it using a batch file & task scheduler, which I'm writing now).

I want to open WA2, but then Auto open the "Timers" window.
1)  What is the link to open timers, can I open it using a command?
2)  Is there a way to keep the "location" settings?  Every time I open it I have to move the timers screen, is there a way to anchor them?  (Even if it's a string in the batch file?)

Great work.  :)

Seems to be an issue with dropbox links at the moment - I get the same for old and new celebration maps hosted there, and other users have also reported issues.

heeeeeelppp! Granger for today have keep saying not fully loaded even that I left wurm assistant online for hours :( .

No error log, just this:

[13:11:25] Info > Granger debug > smile cond: You smile at Aged fat Silverlightning.

[13:11:25] Info > Granger debug > attempting to start processing horse due to line: You smile at Aged fat Silverlightning.

[13:11:25] Info > Granger debug > extracting object name

[13:11:25] Info > Granger debug > object assumed to be a horse

[13:11:25] Info > Granger debug > processing horse canceled, still waiting for AH skill lookup to finish

I don't think I even updated the program but idk if it update without notify me :3 .

Well okay, still I don't have enough info to do anything about it. You should check if other things work correctly, like timers. Then you need to mail me the log file of the day(s) that this error was happening and I'll check for fishy things. Also tell me if you have done anything to actual wurm log files, or reinstalled wurm, or moved it. Also if you have traveled between freedom and epic in last few days.

To fix it temporarily, you can try deleting Granger settings file in program dir:

Users\yourUserName\AppData\Local\AldurCraft\WurmAssistant2\Modules\Granger\

or paste this into address field in explorer:

%localappdata%\AldurCraft\WurmAssistant2\Modules\Granger\

email is wurmassistant@gmail.com

I delete granger setting file and still happen.. the only thing I recall happening on same time is that I install dot net 3.5 or 4 for terraria and change window sorting to modified on wurm log. Else than that, I hasn't reinstal wurm, move it, or anything. I will mail you the log.

EDIT: found the weird thing after new granger setting

[18:04:01] Info > - > !LogSearcher result preparation error for monthly log: _Skills.2013-04 ; datetime was out of range: 32 1 2013

Checked the log of the grangered character for that date range and no date 32 on it.

More EDIT: deleted the specified logfile, no error but granger still not working.

Do you still have this file? I would like to take a look at it and see why this happened.

Also now that you removed a log file, you need to go to LogSearcher and click the "Force recache" button.

Thanks, I've found out what has happened.

In the skill log there are places, where timestamp on next line is earlier than previous line. This happens when system clock is running too fast and then is updated (synchronized with clock service). This made logsearcher think that following lines are of next day and I suspect it may be happening a lot in your logs, which is likely the reason it can't figure correct information.

This is not an issue I can easily fix, but I will look into the code and try to find some workaround. It may take some time though, that code already does magic to prevent many log-related issues, tampering there may bring more harm than good, if I'm not careful. :\

This is yet another example of why I'm feeling continuing work on WA is pointless. In a slightly better world, I'd just ask Wurm Online client itself for your current skill and work from there, instead of parsing logs, which is obviously, as example shows, far from reliable.

I think I'll get the updater done and then pause the project until devs decide to stop ignoring me (bug fixes and minor additions excluded). I've done way too much free work for them as it is and at this point, I don't need WA project for anything (it served its purpose), I update it purely of my own free will.

Depends if that time issue is still happening for you. You can certainly try it, move the logs and do the "recache" thing. But keep in mind you need logs from at least few last days, since that's where assistant gets your current AH skill (and similar info).
