Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Hey there, i wanted to know and kindly ask if you could implement a feature that would let me see how much time I need to reach a certain level. Like: [16:45:22] Body control increased by 0,000587 to 23,02578 and the assistant shows me the average time of getting to a certain level like 31. It shows me then "You need 44852 ticks like the last skill increase to reach Skill level 31." Because of that, you need an average of 172 Days to reach Level 31 of Body control." ᕗຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ Something like this is planned for WA3, dev of which is paused till July. It's a very nice tool but it currently suggests that olives are ripe, which they aren't. I downloaded only a few days ago. I've noticed other sources, Wurmpedia, are also not clear about when exactly seasons start. Do they start within a time interval which can't be accurately defined or what seems to be the problem? Indeed, there have been some changes to how seasons behave, since that tool was made. I think seasons are somewhat random, they generally fall around their "official" date. Calendar will have an update in WA3. Posted May 31, 2015 I run ( after getting a new PC ) in a strange Problem. The WA does not see the skillpoints of my characters - especially the horses - AH skill. Any Idea why ? In my experience, you have to obtain a point in the skill for it to start tracking again.

I am having this same issue. Suddenly one day all the harvest times got resorted and are way off. I was wondering if there is a way to auto-update or even how to update manually? I am hoping that updating will fix the issue. And my ingame time matches my WA2 time. Edited May 31, 2015 by Harvest
Posted May 31, 2015 The devs made seasons random. They have a "expected" date, but can randomly be a week earlier or later. This is not something a tool can guess anymore and the season calendar is therefor just a "estimate time" and shouldn't be relied upon as you could in the old days
Posted June 2, 2015 Is it possible to make it so Granger accepts animals with the same name? Usually they have different attributes and parents, which should make them unique to each other. Thanks!
Posted June 2, 2015 That would probably cause problems for the auto-updating of ages/fat reserves/grooming/birthing since that seems to run off of event messages. Maybe it would just have to stop trying to update horses that had duplicate names. The real solution would be for the Devs to implement a method for naming the horses ourselves but GL getting that through.
Posted June 16, 2015 Hi folks! I would first like to thank a few kind souls, for their donations in last weeks! And on my part, everything is going according to plan. 1st July I am back on dev and this time, nothing will stop me from getting WA3 out and the roadmap cleared! ------------ About creature names - it really is a painful Wurm limitation and it was communicated to me clearly, that they do not plan on improving it.I could still loosen the limits, but then I'd have to block any updates, when identification is not possible (for example many updates not based on examining, or when parents disappear, which happens if they die). I might add such an option in WA3.
Posted June 26, 2015 Not sure if this issue is just me or not, but as of recently the meditation timer has stopped working properly. The first meditation of the day will reset the timer and put it on cooldown, but for the second, i can meditate repeatedly and the timer will never reset, and continues to sit at 'ready'. Posted June 26, 2015 Hi Alex. Standard array of questions: Any errors reported by WA? Have you made any major changes between then it used to work and when it stopped? (like, WA clean reinstalls, wurm reinstalls, changes in game client config etc. If neither, I will have a look at the timer at a later date, any issue I should be able to nail then. Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) Aldur,Great job on the dev path, I just managed to update mine and yes, there were updates to download Woot! How can I setup notifications for support tickets or when a GM PMs me?I know that I can do it through the sounds, but what triggers do I need to put in? I don't know a GMs name before they respond, so I can't program it that way. Any ideas / thoughts on how to accomplish this?Cheers. Edit:I tried setting it up through the sound triggers, RegEx with PM and: ^((?!\<Urth\>).)+$ Also tried setting it up as a simple sound trigger with even just a [ as the trigger Neither worked - except for the RegEx ^((?!\<Urth\>).)+$ when in an existing open PM.Any thoughts? If I can get it to work I'll update the wiki as well. Cheers Edited July 1, 2015 by Mynnah
Posted July 1, 2015 Woot looks like its 1st July, time to get back on the block! Hi Mynnah! One thing I can immediately recommend, is to test these regexes in logsearcher. If they find right bits, they will work in timers or triggers.I don't think GM's can be distinguished from regular player PM's, but a regex with names of all GM's would work (patterns can be OR-ed). If you still have trouble setting this up, I'll write down that regex today evening, as I'm in a hurry at the moment.
Posted July 1, 2015 Actually, search on 'responding to your support call'. That is the canned response for the support system. It will be proceeded by 'Hello, CM/GM' and followed by the ticket number.

The first meditation of the day will reset the timer and put it on cooldown, but for the second, i can meditate repeatedly and the timer will never reset, and continues to sit at 'ready'. I also noticed this: my meditation timer always shows "ready!", regardless of any meditation activities. Posted July 3, 2015 (edited) Wait.... I just had an idea: Is WA checking _Skills*.txt for meditation ticks? Because that would explain it. At 90.4 skill my ticks are very small (<0.01) and my skillgain updates are set to "integer increase" - so *Skills*.txt will not contain any meditation skill lines for a very long time. Could that be the problem? Edited July 3, 2015 by Yaga
Posted July 3, 2015 I don't use ticks, I have integers and it's worked fine until recent. I even had one account broken while another was working fine until I had to restart my pc, then both broke Setting up custom timers to search for 'you finish your meditation' or 'it will take a while again blabla' seem to work fine
Posted July 3, 2015 (edited) From what I can gather, the tick would need to be over 1 year ago, that is was the current limit set in the code. I've just tested with an even longer period and it has worked correctly for some over 2-year old gains. WA is looking for Meditating increased to or Meditating decreased to entries in the logs, then matches any finding to a server group (map of this information is built elsewhere), to distinguish them. Since messages seem to look the same as always, possible issues might be:Failing to match that server group, unfortunately there is was no debugging available for this one. I've only noticed it working for my own log history, up to beginning of 2013, because earlier figuring server group was not possible.Parsing the skill level incorrectly, as if nothing was parsed, logs would contain "Processed skill line failed to match" kind of error, which they don't seem to. The skill matcher first looks for something like this: 123,123, then 123.123 (with a dot), then 123 (no decimal part)I have just rolled 2 updates (latest is 2.0.131.11), with:some additional logging for server groups matching to skill levels, increased the max scan time to 4 years, bugfix: where archival level (saved in WA settings) was being overwritten to zero, when no search results were foundbugfix: where using archival level was not initially setting timer to correct statePlease send me WA logs after you've got a chance to run with new update and still have any issues.
