Click Play, Open File, And Nothing/failed To Validate Certificate[Fixed]

Wurm wont start for me at all. Java is updated, i tried clearing all previous temp files and everything else that was suggested in the forums and nothing.

I used to play Wurm a while back and really want to get back into it!

When it crash, it usually creates some kind of log. Have you seen any file in any folder (Wurm folder or desktop) like a .txt containing info about the crash?

Also... Is your desktop´s color 32 bits? Cause I had this weekend problems in another pc starting the game with 16bits color desktop.

I can't find a .txt file anywhere. I deleted the wurm folder in an attempt to refresh the game. (I havent played in a year)

I use 32 bit color, windows 7 64 bit

Hummm.... Thats strange. What Java version do you have then? Its hard to say something if there is no error log : /

yes. I have and reinstalled the 64 bit version of java. I've tried different browsers and still nothing. I click play now, open file, and nothing happens :/

Make sure the .jnlp files are executed with javaws.

You can also make a shortcut to "javaws.exe http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient.jnlp" and start wurm from that shortcut.

executing with javaws brought up the wurm loading screen, now I have a "failed to validate certificate" error

and a log!

Well, its some kind of advance, but I dont know a thing about that. Never seen that error before. I guess you should wait for others more experienced than me.

I found the solution to the failed to validate certificate problem.

Go to Control Panel-> Programs -> Java -> Advanced Tab -> Security-> General-> and click enable online certificate verification.
