Posted December 23, 2008 Not sure if Notch wanted to mention this himself, but I didnt see any thread about it here. Left 4k Dead is a game Notch made for the Java 4k 2009 competition, it's a pun based on the game Left 4 Dead by Valve (which is amazing I might add). Check it out here Pretty impressive, especially from a programming standpoint, well done Notch! Also worth noting is that at the 4k site, the most played game is Miners4K, another game done by Notch.
