Oak Trees are killing Bushes After the Grass Cutting change. (probably willow too)

I noticed this change when grass cutting was implemented. Although I had thought a villager was playing tricks on me. But I have now confirmed that bushes are killed since after the grass cutting update.

These bushes include but are not limited to: oleander, lavender, roses, camellia.

Oak and willow kill any plants within a 1 tile radius

farm plants and flowers are ok but shrubs count as trees so they are killed.

oak trees supposedly kill other trees within 1 tile and willows have a 2tile kill range... at least that's how it's been since i can remember

It has always been like that although it would be nice if you could grow a bush next to willows and oaks.

Both oaks and willows are the same:

no kill radius at young,

one tile radius at mature,

two tile at old and overaged.

The effect is not immediate, but works on all bushes and trees.

Been like that for the entire year I have been playing.

It would be nice to change, so that bushes don't count as trees on this matter but as flowers/grass. It's a feature suggestion rather than a bug though.
