Posted December 13, 2008 I'm sure this was brought up before but I can't find it atm. It would really be nice if lamps off deed would light up at normal times just like on deed, or even just light up when a player is within a certain range. Also can we please have it where lamps in mines stay lit all the time once lit, refuel if need be but let us keep them on. The lamps in the mine below a deed do come on but keeping them on is a royal pain. We like to have our creativity in this game, this is one of the aspects that draw the majority of us in, let us have these little things to express ourselves more! Posted December 13, 2008 The whole lit mine situation was touched upon in this thread: http://wurmonline.com/forum/index.php?topic=9270.0 The suggestion of keeping lamps lit after they've been lit has been brought up, but you've also brought up something which I haven't seen touched upon. It'd be really cool if, like you said, there was an easier way to light them, no matter what the in-game time is. Both on deed and off. Perhaps walking within 1 tile of them, while having a lit lantern or a torch, would do the trick? Posted December 13, 2008 yea, they go off when it gets light they should be able to go on when it gets dark, at least if there is a person,guard with say 10 tile. and since it doesn't get light in a mine, the light should stay on. I took this to be when the person is in a certian range the game automatically light it up so to save laggyness then it turns off outside the said range of for example 100 tiles I think lamposts should never go out in a mine, and just fade out when out of range so to like i said above save on lag. then the outside lamps auto light at sunset when it is still a little light but stay on after day light comes. but once planting the lamp the lamp is fulled with oil, it will never go out and never have to be relit by the owner and can't be snuffed by other people My 2 cents Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
