Well hello people, is it really that time of the year again? Yes it is.

We're carrying on the Christmas impalong - Empty Founded the first one last year and we intend to carry it on this year - into a kind of tradition.

The christmas impalong will be on the east landbridge in the same spot it was last year. It will be held between the 24th and 27th of December.

So basically, we believe the following people are setting up the Christmas impalong this year, or planning it and such details.

MetalDragon/MD (Imping to 70ql, shields to 50ql/60ql)

Spellcast (Organising the buildings and such)

Scaper (I've seen him making forges and such for the impalong )

Dannyiron(Me ) (I'll be imping blacksmith items to 50ql, mining 50ql iron ore and I'm also imping the forges to 60ql for the impalong, 70 if I can get ahold of the shards *hint hint anyone*)

Michiel (Imping to 70ql, Casting spells with Vynora priest Mic)

Mic (Vynora Priest Enchanting)

Tealc (If he's around ) (Imping to 50ql+, mining lumps of 50ql+ and if needed imping masonry work to 50+ )

Basically, come along with your equipment between 24th and 27th December. We don't know who will be on at what times, and most of up probably won't be on on Christmas for obvious reasons . If you're a good weaponsmith or blacksmith and want to help imp at the impalong, I'm sure we will more than appreciate the help you offer

For weaponsmithing items, we will definitely need a weaponsmith   tealc has 30 for such but we may need higher

For locks and such, Myself and Michiel are locksmiths who can at least make lockpicks (25+ skill) so if nobody else has higher we can always handle that department.

a list of rules:

#1: No newbie tools, you can see if they're newbie tools by examining them if it doesn't say it can be improved with xxxxx it's a newbie tool.

#2: Please try and bring your own tools, we're not here to create handles and make tools then imp them, it makes our job longer (although we have around 4 days to imp lol)

#3: No large items - Large items consist of: Large anvils and (street)Lamps, i'm not sure what other blacksmithing goods use 0.25 or more.

#4: Your items will be improved whenever a person gets to it, it may be first, it may be hours, i don't think the workers will prioritize anything unless they KNOW for sure you've been waiting a long time.

#5: Please rename your tools to your name, just your name, don't bother putting anything else on it.

#6: If you're imping, please put your name on the lump you are using, so it's easy to recognise when heating it up.

I can't think of anymore, but if you think of more feel free to put them on.

How the system will work?

There will be two buildings, one will be storage for the lump, the other will be the 'impalong' building.

The storage building will be locked, only a few people will have access to this since it will have a large stash of 70ql ore. Same goes with the 'impalong' building, only trusted people will have access to this, but the door to this building will be unlocked.

People can drop their tools into the forge without anyone being able to take them apart from themself and the one or two people in the house writ. Anyone can improve your tools, but they will not be able to pick them up unless they steal them (premium only).

If someone does decide to risk stealing the tool then they will automatically be [OUTLAW] on which MD (and others?) will chase and kill.

If you need any help regarding the impalong, I'm sure you can PM any of the people stated above for a hand

Remember, the impalong building is along the East landbridge beside Candy Mountain!

If I'm around, count me in to help. I'm a titled Mason, Miner and Blacksmith... I can also do Weapons/Knifes upto 30 ish so far.

I asked scaper first too and he agreed there wouldn't be anything harmful with posting it before talking to you seeing as you were on wild =/

But we can always ask to get it moved to JK section, jst it would get more attention in general town square

I didn't tell anyone to make a thread, i just thought it was common curtersy to let the host make the thread since they wouldn't have to go through a second person to get the thread updated. But that doesn't matter now.

The reason why i wanted it in the subforum is because Oreo on MRH is doing something similar and didn't want to try have some 'bigger ego' thingy going on by posting it in the main forum.

Anyway, put me down as imping to 70ql anyway, i can do sheilds to 50ql, maybe 60ql depending if i want to use extra lump on it.

Remove the 'i think hes on wild' crap at the top, it's clutter.

Make note of somewhere that Empty hosted the original Newtown impalong (unless there was someone else who hosted it on gold one, or before then, i don't know?) and we're just carrying on and trying to make it a 'tradition' .

I'm interested in helping for a few of those days, I'll be going to NT anyway for the Christmas gift so could do something useful while I'm in the area 

I've got 60 blacksmithing and 52 plate smithing (but no steel so the latter might be a bit useless). I'll also have 70 mining in a few days and already have 75 masonry, so could help with imping a few forges too if that's needed. I can also do carp stuff to ql 50, but my woodcutting isn't high enough for ql 50 logs so I would need help there.

I'll also be bringing my vynora priest down for the gift, so could use him a bit too (only 42 channeling though, so he's not all that good).

I'll also be around at least some of the time to help with imping BS items, and if i can get some decent logs, carpentry to 50qll, otherwise to 47.whatever it hits when i need a log again.

I also plan to bring down a pile of meals for the impers, so anyone traveling to nt to imp doesnt need to worry about that.
