What do you think if the combat logs told you which hand was used, when using spam mode.

maybe just

*you maul (x) with your off hand...(hardness) and (dmg) it

*you pierce (x) with your off hand...(hardness) and (dmg) it

*you hit (x) with your off hand..(hardness) and (dmg) it

easier than looking for left or right i would think
