Pet being deleted from server due to mine bug

I lost my Aged Champion Crocodile to that supposed mine bug, and it completely got deleted from the server ( As in my pet option was removed and the crocodile was no where to be seen).  I've talked to Oracle and he has not idea what has happened likewise with Eir. I had lost the croc when I was about to walk through a mine door dragging the croc.

This isn't the first time this has happened to me losing a pet to a mine and it's quiet a known bug.

Any help?

I know it has happened to others too, seems like a nasty bug. And yeah, it's been around for months, and afaik Rolf knows about it :/

Only thing you can do for now is to be more careful when exiting a mine and make sure your pet will not get dragged through a corner. I lost a ven champ croc this way, along with several other LO citzens losing their pets this way also, very frustrating.

Yes it should be fixed, you only lose it if you drag it through a corner and the only thing you can do is exit a mine more carefully.

Just this moment lost my pet to this bug, was checking out a mine I found then I get a message saying I stop leading my pet, right click and get no pet option. Sucks.

I lost my champ rat some how, i checked my logs for it being attacked, checked to see if i gave it away, and it was at 'tame' status, so no way could it have gone untame (i checked logs for this too anyway ). I also made sure it logged off with me, which it did.

I didn't lose it by dragging it through the corner of the mine as i left it elsewhere, but it's gone
