Hello everyone,

A while ago, I have requested for a possible IP unban. After the GMs discussed it, they have decided that I was given this chance to show them that I have changed as a person and that I no longer feel any need to cheat in any way.

On purpose, I have not asked for any of my old characters back, because it wouldn’t feel good playing on those, because I was never allowed to make those characters, since they still fell under my old ban.

I believe, with this decision, it doesn’t show that everyone can do whatever they want and get away with it. I have been banned for almost one and a half year; I don’t think anyone can really understand how long this is. Even though I have made new characters during this ban, it is not the same as playing no an allowed account.

Over the years, there have been many rumors of what I have done. Even though you won’t believe everything I say, which I understand, I do feel the need, for myself, to clear a few rumors; I have never used speedhacks, roundwurm or any other third party programs. I have not “macroed my way to the topâ€, the times I have macroed it was with a crappy thingy which didn’t help me much (but which doesn’t make it right). My skills I have always gotten by hard work and a lot of time, with efficient schedules. Though I have often enough come to close to the “greyline†or crossed it, which is exactly what I have changed in as a person. I no longer go anywhere near any form of possible cheat.

So, now that I’m back, a few of my plans that I wish to share.

- For one, I plan to become more of a crafter then a fighter. I no longer want to train a fighter account all the way up again;

- I will be doing a lot of organizing and planning for JK, so expect increase in PvP;

- I will try to get some of the beta, gold 1, or gold 2 people who have quit or are on a break, to play the game again. Hopefully this will increase the player base on wild;

- Report every bug I can find, and try to help improve the game wherever possible.

If at any point, you feel that you disagree with their decision, please report it to Oracle or any of the other GMs.

If you feel that I am cheating in any way in the game, please also report this to Oracle or any of the other GMs, trough the proper channels. And lets hope those accusations will be founded with proof. Also if you feel that I am going towards the “greylineâ€, please let me know so I can turn away from it in time.

For now, everything I do, I will report to Wolfram, so that the GMs are up to date with what I do, where I am, who I have access to etc. to keep an eye on me.

Now I hope those that reply to this have bothered to read it all. Lets see how long we can keep this mature.

So in short: I have closed the pto chapter, I hope the wurm community is mature enough to respect that I am no longer “pto†you can call me Dennis, or as my new account; Friend.

Another thing that gets me is, they even unbanned you after you ban avoided using new characters. What a great justice system wurm has.

Ok, let's go with fact then smart guy.

Firstly, Friend indeed had a champion scorp pet, I saw it with my own eyes. So there's two options here:

1) Kyara allowed him use of the artifact to dominate it

2) He's a mag priest capable of dominating

I highly highly doubt number 1, and number 2 is not possible in the time that he's been back playing. So what is it then Miggy?

I don't know, but he is not a mag priest from what I have seen. The Friend account was made at the very start of the map. He may have been a mag priest already, but I do not know all I know is he has shown no signs of being a mag priest. And even if he is so what, nothing to do with anyone else.

Perhaps Inventor saw the champ scorp that AF was dragging around... From what I heard in vent, AF and Friend were walking around together until Friend logged off (Friend had guided AF, Christa and Pinejon from the WL to VH, iirc). Perhaps Inventor thought that AF's scorp belonged to Friend?

Actually it has a lot to do with anyone else. He is supposedly back on a character with no skills, as he has said in his post NO skills yet is leading around a champ pet. Also, Friend is not a new character. It is an old character of PTO's from the OldTown days.

Anyway, PTO is a pretty cool guy, we talk on IRC sometimes these days.  

Ive always said I would like him to play again BUT without cheating and Im not sure cheaters can change their ways but we will see.

Would like to also share some facts with you that my alt on wild has noticed.

A friend of mine there had a champ black bear he would lead around, I could not see his character as it was inside the champ model. It looked funny as if the bear was walking around on its own.

Another situation is where a player leading a champ croc. The croc was following slightly behind but a couple tiles to their right, it appeared to be following somone else.

Now im not suggesting any of the above was happening, its just that sometimes things work funny in wurm and we had to consider these things.

The Wurm Court disappeared, so I have no other way of confirming this than simply asking, but when you were banned on Victoor, wasn't one of the reasons aside from ban-dodging that you had also macroed mining on him and maybe some other skills? If that is the case and I am remembering correctly, it doesn't seem very indicative of someone who has changed their ways. If it's not the case, sorry for throwing fuel on the fire.

friend was created in the start of the map, but then that account got a name changed, making friend available again for a newbie <-- me.
