Posted December 2, 2008 This sort of thing has got me really frustrated and angry, to the point I'm really disgusted with the wurm justice system! After hearing that PTO has been unbanned, what is next? The unbanning of Delmore and pvtryan? This whole thing has been brushed under the carpet letting a blatant hacker back into the community!, please tell me what that does for our community?. What benefit is it to the wurm community? Posted December 2, 2008 What the hell was wrong with pvtryan? He got banned on a chat abuse. PTO's fine. Have some faith in the GM team - they obviously know the risks and are taking measures to mitigate them - they'll probably be monitoring him for quite a while now. And since you're pulling the 'paying customer' excuse, don't you think PTO has also paid for the game for the duration he was playing? My point here is that you can't brood on this crap. Posted December 2, 2008 What is in the past (which you guys are blowing out of proportion anyway) is in the past, He was given a clean slate and a fresh start, He has a new character with absolutely zero in all skills. What's the problem ? If he cheats/hacks whatever he will get banned and i highly doubt he would be given another chance after that so he would be silly to risk it. All he did before was Macro and carry around a portable altar (I'm not saying macroing isnt a bad thing, And i cant say i am happy he did that in the past). But you guys are acting like PTO is the devil himself lol. Balmore was given a second chance, Why not PTO ?. I could go around making hundreds of topics claiming everyones account is as risk because someone who in the past suicided someones skills away is let back in the game like you guys are about PTO. I just want to make it clear that i think Balmore should be ingame right now and i am glad he is back, I am just using him as a example in my above post. Posted December 2, 2008 friend is a bad skilled, not mag priest (actually vynora follower) i have also never hacked anything. i have had passwords of a few LO accounts in the past, and did nothing with them. the above are all facts. anything you heard else, you heard wrong. please see my hello i am back topic for more info, and feel free to discuss it either in there (if that is the proper channel) or even better, with the GMs directly. Posted December 2, 2008 oh, how i got passwords of citizens of LO, someone gave me his forum pass and thats how i got the passes. balmore was given the password of someone and abused it, i had acces to 3 LO accounts, including a champ account (bosk i believe) and i did nothing with it. i actually do think balmore and i can be compared well. even though that wasnt a factor at all in my unban. balmore got his account unbanned, his crimes were less severe, i only got my IP unbanned and kept my accounts banned, my crimes in the past were more severe.
