Wurmclock: Desktop App Showing Current Wurm Time, Date and Season

Recommended Posts

Posting a dumb question, but I can't figure it out, so sorry.  I don't seem to have a Wurm Clock .ini file.  I checked and I have hidden files viewable.  What am I missing?  Thanks all!

WurmClock3.ini is created when you launch WurmClock V3 for the first time. It is saved in the same folder as the program (WurmClock3.exe) itself. After a successful first launch of WurmClock V3 your WurmClock folder should look like this:

A new version (V 3.1.0.0) is available!

Download the new version here: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/kz2703h7for4etk/WurmClock310.zip

WurmClock now adds wind information to the info box:

Other changes:

WurmClock now obtains its input data from the file "stats.xml", created by the Wurm server. The file "stats.html" is no longer supported.

WurmClock now automatically checks for program updates:

Cool! Thanks for the update - good job.

A minor issue: when there are more than 2 active harvest seasons the last line containing wind info is cut off at the bottom.

Thanks. Yes, I noticed - the info window is a bit too small when more than 2 harvests are in season. Will be fixed with the next update. :)

Update:  New version V3.1.1

After the release of Wurm Online V1.3 today ("Cooking Update") the harvest seasons have been updated. Also, the info box has been resized to allow for more lines of information.

The new Wurm calendar:

Thanks for the speedy update :)

I don't see an icon for hops on the harvest calendar even though the tooltip is showing them correctly.

Shame on me! ;)

In fact, I just noticed it this morning. Will be added in next release!

Thanks for the heads-up.

Some security programs are very sensitive regarding software they do not know. (Norton and Chrome are only 2 examples.) In this case Norton might find WurmClock suspicious because it contains code to download software from the internet - it would download a new program version for you if you decide to answer "yes" to the question about "a new version is available, do you want to download?".

WurmClock does not contain any malicious code, providing you used the original download link given in the OP. So it is safe to add WurmClock to Norton's white list.

Yeah, so far no real serious viruses with wurmclock, just that every hour, the screen turns black, a picture of Yaga appears in the centre, and below it the following text appears "It be now time to pray to The Great Master of Time, Yaga".

I keed, I keed, +1 for Yaga!

Can't remember, did the older skins contain a ClockHandYear.png?  Pretty sure they'd be missing the three flag png's though.

I really like the latest skin, looks beautiful, but for me is pretty large even in Standard.  Going to mess around with it but if there is a way to make it smaller than Standard, I'd love to know.

Might not be feasible considering all the info baked in, so might just prefer getting used to the size so I can keep full functionality, will have to see.

Edit:  It pays for me to scroll up sometimes

Edit # 2:  Installing the skins above was super easy.  Love that we can change the skin on the fly as needed with a simple drop-down within the app!!

Awesome as always.
