Old Healing please.

Recommended Posts

I got a 49 severe from a lucky troll stacking. I thought alright combine 5 0.10kgs and patch it up and then throw a healing cover on it. Nope that didn't work. Made a .60kg nope that doesnt work. Alright .70 nope that doesn't work. Oh  no now i need .80 .90 maybe 1kg to heal it? It's never been like that. Why was this changed.

The old healing system was just fine. I remember taking an 80dmg wound back at the FM LB battle and all i needed was a .90kg what would i need now 2kgs?

noooo. it gives fo priests a reason to exist.

while i understand you want to heal a severe with cotton, a hc is more important at this point.

I don't want it to be Healed 100% just a quick boost maybe to get rid of the tunnel vision ect. Don't want to waste 10kg of cotton for one wound.

A 49 Severe is, well... pretty severe; nearly half of your health. More severe than 80 Severe with the previous health/healing system (where wound damage would go up in hundreds).

I've had more than 100 total dammage, with still over 10% health.

Dammage isn't %

Do you not understand it? Damage is % of your hp bar now, and before in the old healing system your wound would have just been bigger that's all.

I remember Flink getting mauled by the kyklops in the start of Gold2, without realising (I know, lol).

A day later he couldn't understand why he was at 75%, so he checked and realised he had a 250 damage wound on his hand...  ;D

The new wound system is not different from the old AFAIK, apart from the fact that the damage is showed differently.

it is planned, and i think it is implimented for dmg to = %

It's pretty close. Rounding to whole numbers is what causes the wound DMG to not always match health %.

Ah, the old wound system. I'd like it back, but not for the same reason's as the OP. i miss getting troll hits on my hand and winding up with 300 damage wounds by the time i made it back to infinity (going around the south of the mountain):)

"oh .. got any black mushrooms guys?"
