Posted November 26, 2008 Trying to patch here. All I get right now is Pack 1/10, and when I download it, it either goes a mind-numming 22 KB/s(went down to 2 KB/s before), or goes so fast it fails to upload. AKA, I'm having issues updating the packs. I just tried to update manually, now it keeps giving me an "Update failed!" everytime I try to get in. Here's my console of the packs; Nov 1, 2008 10:45:55 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional5.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional5.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:55 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional5.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:55 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional8.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional8.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:56 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional8.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:56 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional4.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional4.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:56 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional4.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:56 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional6.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional6.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:56 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional6.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:57 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional1.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional1.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:57 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional1.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:57 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional9.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional9.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:57 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional9.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:57 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\base.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/base.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\base.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional3.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional3.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional3.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional2.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional2.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional2.jar (0 ms) Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: TODO Updating F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional7.jar from http://www.wurmonline.com/packs/optional7.jar Nov 1, 2008 10:45:58 AM de.vxart.zipupdate.UpdateEngine update INFO: No update necessary for F:\Wurm Online\packs\optional7.jar (0 ms) If you need more info, let me know. Posted November 26, 2008 From what I heard, it's only the base.jar file that got updated, so try downloading that one externally (via browser) and put into your packs folder and see what happens.
Posted November 26, 2008 I've downloaded all of them. And this is what happens.
Posted November 26, 2008 To make Dashiva happy, try starting the test client and see if that patcher works, it uses a different patcher from the normal one http://www.wurmonline.com/client/testclient/wurmclienttest.jnlp
Posted November 26, 2008 Logout on all clients. If it doesn't work, delete Wurm from run > javaws -viewer
