Posted November 25, 2008 Figured it could use it's own post maybe, things I've found so far is: The launcher, or rather the browser in the launcher, is too small to show the web page, plus it looks weird when it's not aligned to the window properly (it's stuck in the center no matter how you resize it). Maybe shouldn't be resizeable at all? But if so enlarge the browser a bit. The ctrl-commands doesn't seem to work as it should, it only jumps one word back as long as you keep ctrl pressed, you have to release it to make it jump another word back, seems to only affect ctrl+left and ctrl+delete however, the other 2 work as they should. Posted November 28, 2008 On Linux, if I click anywhere outside the "Welcome" thing and drag, the window fizzes around madly. Also happens while grabbing anywhere in the Updates tab. Weird. Now, what's worse, is that in jogl+awt I can't select the window at all (the title bar is greyed out like in inactive windows), as it won't respond to mouse clicks anywhere in it. Posted November 28, 2008 Well, by "fizzes" I mean that it jumps erratically around the cursor, as if it can't decide where to snap to (even though there seems to be nothing it can snap to). Happens when I move the launcher around not by clicking on the title bar, but in the middle of the window (grey part, no buttons or text or anything interactive, or in the Updates tab). ** After I click play with jogl+awt, Wurm essentially freezes. I can move the window, minimize it and everything, but clicking inside the window does nothing whatsoever and I can't close it - it's annoying having to specifically send a kill signal to java every time. After I activate another window, the title bar goes grey and the window will not become active again. Alt-tabbing or any other methods don't seem to work. If it helps I'm using kde-4 (which seems horribly buggy right now), not sure about the WM. I have three questions: 1. why are there always just 2 other players online at the test server? Where are they? 2. how come whenever I minimize/change workspaces, Wurm is wiped out (the window turns completely black, I can't do anything, on test and current client) ** 3. how do I test certain things which require items or skills? The compass thing, or the tile borders for example. **EDIT: Well, I just tested with GNOME, and these two problems seem to have disappeared. Interesting. Posted November 29, 2008 You have to enable the "release context every frame" setting to use JOGL on linux. Since the window behaves properly in gnome and kde 3, I think we'll blame kde 4 for the other problems. As for the test server, one of the players is you. The other is Xallo, who for some reason is always listed as logged on but not actually there.

We'll have a look at this. It would probably help if you gave some specific examples of what happens (or not), and what is wrong about it. The one who needed to know about it understood it, and has fixed it, so this part canĀ be ignored now
