Posted November 13, 2008 I am really bad on long speeches and other bias so i will come straight to the point. Yup, iam back. and this time - in power of two. my lil brother literaly. You were right Roxana, who once stept inside wurm will always come back. and so em I. after doing a whole circle, checking all new mmo out there i found myself unable to play all that simple and boring games (and belive me - you could see me in all new MMO out there). So what i had known long time ago came back to me: its not that Wurm have some magical power or something. its becuz Wurm is near perfect, in all terms. and playing any other MMO will just leave you with feeling of being disapointed. I am taking my little brother with me here and how long i will stay or play depends totaly on him =) i want to start over also becuz of him, would be unfair and he would loss much of all this funny newbie stuff at the beggining with me and my skills being as high as they were =) i dont want to take that away from us. Mol rehan now has it's own Home server although it is prem only um several updates to fighting including major changes to shields and longwords being nerfed. MR got its own server???? O.O is it premium only or like Home-style free to be? hows playing there? (we share friends so you know who i have in mind and which names i will remember) damn i would love to join MR, i know Home server like my own pocket lol, would be awesome to be a total newbie once again on fresh new land =D hows the population? how many ppl play on which server (you remember my alergy against nobies right? well yeah its only became stronger lol), i hate to leave a plank on ground and see how it magicaly "disapear" in matters of minutes, if you know what i mean... can you explain more about fighting system tweaks? i havent forgoten how fun killing is :> dont tell me you need like 100FS now to kill a rabit rotfl... Posted November 13, 2008 MR is great, only about 15-25 people on the whole server most of the time which makes for a great sense of community and you get to know people pretty well. The landscape is very mountainous and has a seemingly endless dirt layer where there is dirt. This makes it very challenging landscape to work with but some stunning views. As for the fighting it's not very hard i can kill most thing without to much trouble with just under 50 FS. Also with the small player base there is great hunting if you are thinking of training your FS back to its former glory. Overall FS is bearable ( For me atleast ) and MR-H is great oh and as far as i know there is still some dragons yet to be found on MR-H Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted November 13, 2008 hehe yep always said we'd find a dragon and i did!!! ^^ it was just NE of the red #1 location suprisingly enough...lol if you dont knwo where that was..its the big sandbox on the south side of mount relentless was an awesome fight ended up with close to 30 people coming along to kill the thing lol it killed 13 or so of us aswell xD the fight lasted 8 minutes or so, it was a right beast the participants are listed on the kyara web site main page...its quite large so id rather not write em all out MR home is premium only yes, and its got an isane dirt layer and lots of mountains looking at the server graphs it usually has about 20 people on or less during peak times. the fight skill tweaks arent that bad, shields now take stamina away as rolf messed up with the code so you gained stamina fighting mass mobs rather than losing for blocks aparently. weapons now need WoA to get the max weapon speed for your skill otherwise their an average of 2 seconds slower. some weapons were made stronger and some slightly weaker. eerm..thats all i can remember of the top of my head Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Home before wipe was much more interesting =( so is the old scheeme regarding waepons back? axes- fast, small dmg; swords-best parry ratio moderate dmg; mauls - slow but high dmg? you know better then me that i am willing to start killing run as soon as i log in so you know need info as nearly all my is outdated. (yup mister, now its time for me to ask questions about fighting xD ) WoA on weapons....? so Vynora priests/champs are making even more silver now huh...? heh... what about special moves and styles? i mean does fighting style finaly(again?) do anything? i remember how near-none the diffrences was... also i remember special moves being normaly just waste of time lol with only use in PvP but even there - rarely. Fresh new MR-H is very tempting and theres a big possibilitie i will point my steps there... after my bro will grab the basic knowledge of gameplay. tsk tsk, prem only huh? well. in this case i would need to pay for both his and my prem, and i am aware of "prem trap"(when your skils are caped you play just for fun, but when theres no cap... well the temptation is very strong you know ). speaking of, how much for 1/2 month prem now? still 10 euros for 2 months? Posted November 13, 2008 wow hi Basic =D damn how the time passes fast =) happy to see you remember that old faggy cat i am =) and Wohow Mir =D dont be so happy about my skills lad, as i said - i am starting from zero, by a choice. yes i know, i got hell load of titles and all that, most of them were over 50 when i last time checked and some 70+ or near that. but as i said - its a game, and the best times are the first steps =) skill are not something i cant regain, and i want to give me bro a fair treatment. it is so much more fun when you start with your friend and grow. by using my old account he would a total newbie (well he is anyway lol, at least here) but this way the only diffrence betwen us two is that i know wurm like my own pocket and he doesnt, but technicaly we match each other. Robbie! =D wohow now this is someone i havent seen in ages =D happy to see that you are still around old fart :*** take a look at this guy and make him teach you his patience. if even half of the human kind would have so much calmness as he have there wouldnt be even one singiel war on this planet. My Lady =) you know that i always wanted to be by your side and i will go for it as soon as i'll be able to. the solo reason why i havent bought both of us (me and my brother) a prem is becuz idont know if he will love wurm as i do and i hate wasting money. well its not like i em greedy or poor ass, but still - i dont like wasting stuff. i told him that first feeling with wurm are rarely the best (lol gently said), and its like a good wine which needs time to be tasted and "felt" inside. bear in mind that its hard for regular MMO players to get in touch with wurm. theres no quests or lvls in technical terms. 95% is player made and its the closes thing to Virtual Reality i know. to play wurm you need to switch the way of you thinking and create your own goal to reach for (aside from that even brick making can be addictive here ^^ my personal record was something around 4k in one day lol) on a side note, i am expiriencing some performence problems in wurm which i havent had before. was the client modified in any way? i dont think i changed anything in options but from unknown reason from 20-30FPS i have like 7-10FPS now O.o its 3 times less so iam worryng. side note2: yeah wow =D as you pointed it My Lady, i am both happy and suprised that how many people are giving me a warm welcome back =] rare thing. maybe i wasnt that bad after all =) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We have had some client changes, I think now they are set to default so if you go in and readjust them, lower some of the graphics, then you might get better fps. I have an old machine with probably the lowest of parts and can still do ok. Seems like when the rain starts we lag a bit, maybe thousands of raindrops hit the server at once, I'm not sure.
