Latency issues with JK server

Well, I think the fault is on my end.

Whenever the load on my ISP is higher than normal (Mid-day, Night), it takes forever to load up wurm. I get past the loading bar, but when wurm is loading the various buildings and trees, it takes 15 minutes to do so. And each right click menu takes 5 minutes to load, if it does.

And we all know that wurm can't be played without right click menus

Is there anything I can do on my end? I can still play aoround midnight and in the early hours of morning, but well, I'd rather not.

Where are you located? what type of internet connection do you use?

Personally I would complain to your ISP or maybe even look at changing providers.

Also, try doing a broadband speedtest when latency is high (loads of speedtest apps listed in google).

Finally make sure its not something like a scheduled anti-virus scan on your PC that is dragging it down. (Open up task manager when the latency is high)
